Black Male Achievers

The BMA program provides mentoring, academic advising, and academic and professional skill development via workshops and guest speakers all with the objective of helping our student members accomplish their goals of earning an associate’s degree, transferring to a university, and/or entering the workforce. Each member is expected to attend weekly workshops or guest speaker activities and actively participate in community service opportunities. Those students who meet those and other requirements are eligible to apply for a Strides scholarship that requires participants to conduct research on a topic and present that research in some capacity (e.g., student symposium, social media platform, etc.).
