Tallahassee State College is proud to announce 12 faculty and staff members have been recognized by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) for their extraordinary work. The following have been named recipients of the 2025 NISOD Excellence Award.

The NISOD Excellence Awards were established in 1991 to provide NISOD member colleges with an opportunity to recognize individuals doing extraordinary work on their campuses. Since then, more than 30,000 recipients have been honored with the Award by their colleges.
Excellence Award recipients have the opportunity to attend NISOD’s International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence in Austin, Texas, for a very special awards and recognition ceremony. During the celebration, recipients will receive a unique silver medallion that is hung from a burnt-orange ribbon.
