TSC Wednesday Market

Market Wednesday is designed to showcase local vendors, students, and student organizations who wish to sell their goods and services on TSC campus. Activities may be for the purposes of fundraising for a student organization or profit generation for an individual or private organization. Market Wednesday will be held on the third Wednesday of each>month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union.

Eligibility:

In order to participate in TSC Market Wednesday, individuals or organizations must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  1. A recognized student organization or club in good standing with the College;
  2. An individual student registered and approved by the Office of Workforce Development; or

Once qualified to participate in TSC Market Wednesday, individuals and organizations must confirm participation in Market Wednesday with the Office of Workforce Development.

Once eligibility has been verified and you are approved to participate in TSC’s Market Wednesday, please follow these steps to confirm your intent.

Contact Workforce Development Office: Email Workforce Development workforce@tsc.fl.edu with your intent to participate in Market Wednesday.

Provide Required Information:

  1. Your full name
  2. Student ID number
  3. Organization or vendor name (if applicable)
  4. Date(s) of the Market Wednesday you plan to attend Confirm Registration Details: Verify your registration status and confirm that your $15 participation fee has been processed.

Payment Options are available for some Division of Workforce Development courses and programs. 70% of TSC students graduate debt-free. Please see the information below to see if you qualify.

Bright Futures Scholarship

Florida Bright Futures provides lottery-funded scholarships for high-achieving Florida high school graduates. The following Division of Workforce programs may qualify for a Bright Futures Scholarship:

  • Applied Cyber Security
  • Commercial Vehicle Driving
  • HVAC
  • Landscape and Turf Management
  • Marine Service Technologies
  • Medical Assisting
  • Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care
  • Patient Care
  • Phlebotomy
  • Welding Technology

Florida Prepaid Plan

Currently, the following Division of Workforce programs qualify for Florida Prepaid:

Other Payment Options

a) Employer Reimbursement

Many employers provide course reimbursement. Check with your employer’s Human Resources department for details on reimbursement policies.

b) Self-Pay

Students can pay online with a credit or debit card or pay in person at the Cashier's Office. It's on the 2nd floor of the Student Union. Accepted payments include credit/debit cards, money orders, checks, and cash. Click here to see an interactive campus map.

Tuition Waivers and Exemptions

TSC is able to provide a number of tuition waivers and exemptions to eligible students.  Carefully read the requirements and student responsibilities for each waiver and exemption. The "Homeless" waiver isn't for GED® Prep or ESOL programs, but the "Independent Living" waiver is. No waiver or exemption applies to TSC Continuing Workforce Education (CWE) courses. My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship

The MyCAA Scholarship is a job-training program funded by the Department of Defense. Military spouses can get up to $4,000 for training, licenses, certifications, or degrees.

  • Earn credentials for top careers in healthcare, computer science, construction, and trades.

  • Our Enrollment Representative can help you choose courses and apply for MyCAA funding. 

  • Save money on your certification exam—most fees are covered when you enroll.

  • Your Student Advisor will guide you through your course and job search.

The scholarship covers tuition for courses, exams, licenses, certificates, certifications, and prep courses. The MyCAA Scholarship does not cover housing or travel costs. It doesn't cover books, equipment, supplies, uniforms, computers, or electronics.

MyCAA Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be married to an active-duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, National Guard, or Reserve member.

  •  You must also be married to service members in pay grades E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, or O-1 to O-2.

  • You may also qualify if your spouse is a National Guard or AGR Member on federal Title 10 active-duty orders.
