HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

One TSC Scholarship Application allows you to be considered for multiple scholarships for which you may be eligible. Take a look at the steps below to begin your TSC Scholarship Application.

Step 1 - Create or log in to your TSC Scholarship Account

Step 2 -Complete the TSC Scholarship Application

Once logged in, select the Scholarship Application. You do not need to submit a separate application for each TSC scholarship.

Step 3 - Answer all application questions

Complete all required questions and essays carefully. Scholarship funding is limited, and completing an application does not guarantee an award..

Step 4 - Request recommendation letters

Provide the names and email addresses of at least two people you would like to submit recommendations on your behalf. The scholarship portal will email each recommender with instructions for submitting their letter.

Step 5 - Complete the FAFSA

Some scholarships are based on financial need. TSC uses information from the FAFSA to determine financial need.

Step 6- Submit your application by the deadline

Scholarship application periods and deadlines vary. Review the current scholarship deadlines below.

Step 7 - Check your email for updates

TSC will send scholarship application updates and award notifications to the email address you provide in your application.

FLORIDA BRIGHT FUTURES

TSC accepts Florida Bright Futures scholarships, including Florida Academic Scholars, Florida Medallion Scholars, Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholars, and Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars.

OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS

Outside Scholarships are awarded by various businesses, charities, clubs/groups, etc. These scholarships have their individual application process and are awarded by outside organizations. Please be aware of what websites you search through and know there should never be a cost associated with applying for scholarships.

The links below are for outside scholarships that are not offered directly through Tallahassee State College. For more information, please contact the individual organization.

Scholarship granting organizations wishing to have their scholarships posted below can email Scholarships@tsc.fl.edu with a brief description, including the deadline, and the scholarship application link for consideration. Beginning May 1, 2023, Florida organizations will only be permitted to advertise a scholarship offer. 

If you receive an outside scholarship, make sure to report this information to the Financial Aid Office so it can be included in your financial aid award.
