A HUB FOR ALL LEARNERS

The Innovation Hub is a collaborative, hands-on learning environment designed to empower students, faculty, and the community through creativity, experimentation, and emerging technologies. Rooted in access, exploration, and applied learning, the Hub supports innovation across disciplines by combining cutting-edge tools, guided instruction, and real-world problem solving.

Our mission is to spark curiosity, build future-ready skills, and support academic, workforce, and entrepreneurial pathways through experiential learning.

DEDICATED ROOMS AND EQUIPMENT

The hub features five specialized rooms, each equipped with tools to support specific fields:

  • AR/VR Room: This room provides students with immersive virtual and augmented reality experiences, allowing them to visualize complex concepts and interact with data in new ways.
  • Supply Chain Room: Students can utilize tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and robotics to prototype new parts and develop innovative solutions for logistics and supply chain management challenges.
  • Cloud Computing Room: A dedicated space for students to explore and work with cloud technologies, gaining essential skills for careers in this rapidly growing field.
  • Computer Programming Room: This room is a central location for students to collaborate on coding projects, test applications, and utilize specialized software.
  • Engineering Technology/Semiconductor Productivity Room: Equipped with advanced tools, this space allows students to apply engineering principles and gain hands-on experience with semiconductor technology and other engineering projects.

MICROCREDENTIAL TRACKS

The Innovation Hub offers structured microcredential tracks aligned with industry-relevant skills and applied learning outcomes. Tracks include:

  • 3D Printing
  • Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR)
  • Robotics
  • Laser Fabrication
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Entrepreneurship.

Each track is designed to guide learners from foundational knowledge to applied skill development through workshops, projects, and hands-on experiences.

BADGE LEVELS

Learners progress through a tiered badge system that recognizes skill development and achievement. These pathways support skill-building at every stage of the learner journey.

Explorer

Explorer badges introduce foundational concepts and safe equipment use.

Specialist

Specialist badges focus on applied skills, tool proficiency, and project-based learning.

Innovator

Innovator badges recognize advanced competencies, problem-solving, and creative application across technologies.
