Your Success Matters

Discover personalized support to help you reach your academic goals. TSC strives to create a campus where all students are valued for their abilities, rather than being limited by a disability. The Student Accessibility Services Office provides students with accommodations, academic advising, and other support to help them succeed in college.

Our Services

Voter Registration

The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), a federal law, and the Florida Voter Registration Act require that university and community college offices serving persons with disabilities offer those persons the opportunity to register to vote or to update a voter registration record at the time the applicant applies for services or assistance, applies for renewal of such services or assistance, and/or applies for a change of address.

The Center will provide persons with disabilities a preference form and if persons indicate they want to apply to vote, the Center will provide a voter registration application form. For persons with disabilities who choose not to contact the Center in-person the following links provide alternative opportunities to register to vote.

Margaret Stevens, BSW – Office Manager
sas@tsc.fl.edu

My name is Margaret Stevens. I work at the front desk for the accommodation department at Tallahassee State College. I get the opportunity every day to work with staff who provide accessibility services to students to fit their educational needs. This office also provides academic advising and support services to students. The front desk is in the middle of the interaction between students and staff. The experience I have gained is immeasurable and has helped me in my career choice. Working for the college inspired me to finish working on my AA degree. I also earned an Office Management Certificate. Currently, I’m working towards a BSW in Social Work from Thomas University. I enjoy reading, cooking, shopping, old movies and most of all being a grandmother. I’m the caregiver of a beautiful autistic young adult niece.
