NOTICE OF RULE ADOPTION: The District Board of Trustees of Tallahassee State College, Florida gives notice of its intent to adopt Rules stated above at its regularly scheduled Board meeting on October 20, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Tallahassee Community College – Main Campus, Hinson Administration Building, 444 Appleyard Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32304.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To amend policies outlining and/or clarifying the College’s governance, personnel, program, students, finances and operations in regards to: Policymaking, board conflict of interest, notice of meetings, hearings, and workshops, DBOT meetings, agendas and meetings of the DBOT, public participation at Board meetings, employee recruitment and selection, background screenings, employee standards of conduct, Title IX sexual harassment, employee attendance and leave, lactation/nursing mothers, hazing, transfer of academic credit,  sponsored programs, student activity and service fees, Florida’s right to know law, EA/EO, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking, identity theft prevention, safety and crime prevention, protection of vulnerable persons-reporting suspected child abuse, abandonment and neglect at TSC.
