The Fine Art Gallery at Tallahassee State College is proud to present Three Approaches to Success, an inspiring art exhibit featuring the work of three accomplished local artists. The show highlights each artist's unique styles and perspectives and how personal experience and exploration can lead to success.
Featured artists include Linda Dodson, who creates detailed beaded tapestries inspired by Japanese glass beads. She’s been admiring and exploring this art form for nearly two decades.
Junia Mason Edmonds uses acrylic and oil paint to capture the light and shadows of forest landscapes.
Virginia Milne draws and oil paints the human figure, which she’s been fascinated by for a long time. Recently, she has started displaying cow figures in her work. When she is not creating art, she teaches it to others.
The opening reception for Three Approaches to Success will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fine Art Gallery. The event is free and open to the public.
