From trailblazing entrepreneurs to inspiring business leaders and champions of economic opportunity, remarkable women are making a difference across our region. Tallahassee State College (TSC) is inviting the public to help celebrate these achievements and is now accepting nominations for its 2027 Women’s History Month honorees.
This year’s theme, “Financial Literacy, Liberation, and Leadership: Women in Business,” celebrates women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in business, expanded economic opportunities, empowered others through financial education, or helped break down barriers to financial independence.
TSC’s Women’s History Month Committee invites nominations of women whose achievements and contributions reflect one or more of the following areas:
- Financial Literacy: Women who have empowered others through financial education, including budgeting, saving, investing, credit management, financial planning, or building financial independence
- Financial Liberation: Women who have worked to remove economic barriers, expand access to financial resources, advocate for economic equality, or create opportunities for women and underserved communities
- Business Leadership: Women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership as business owners, entrepreneurs, or business leaders
Nominations are open through Friday, November 20, 2026, and may be submitted at tallystate.com/WHM2027.
Selected honorees will be recognized at the Women’s History Month ceremony on Wednesday, March 10, 2027.
