Tallahassee State College will welcome 2,348 new graduates to the alumni family during its commencement ceremony on Thursday, December 4, at 6 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
Commissioner of Education, Anastasios “Stasi” Kamoutsas, will deliver the keynote address. Bryan Bacallao, the Student Government Association President for 2025-26, will provide remarks on behalf of the student body.
In addition to the main commencement ceremony, the College has scheduled several special events to celebrate its graduates:
- Veterans Cord and Coin Ceremony: Wednesday, December 3, at 1 p.m. in the Veterans Success Center; honoring graduating veterans for their service to the nation and their academic achievements.
- Healthcare Professions Pinning Ceremony: Wednesday, December 3, at 5:30 p.m. in Turner Auditorium; a cherished tradition in the healthcare field, symbolizing the graduates' transition from students to professionals.
Additional ceremonies will recognize graduates from the public safety and workforce programs:
- Workforce Development Healthcare Pinning: Thursday, December 11, at 6 p.m., in the Workforce Development Ballroom on the main campus.
- Florida Public Safety Institute Graduations: Law enforcement program graduates on Friday, December 12, at 10 a.m., and fire program graduates on Monday, December 15, at 7 p.m., all at the Florida Public Safety Institute Conference Center.
