The Tallahassee State College (TSC) Fine Art Gallery is excited to showcase Serendipity, an art exhibition by the award-winning artist, Terrie Corbett. The exhibition opens with a free reception for the public on Thursday, September 3, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Corbett’s latest work explores oil and wax, and encaustic art through two new series, Meditations and Chaos. Her diverse body of work also includes graphite, charcoal, kiln-fired glass, and collage.
She has exhibited throughout Florida and across the country, with her work featured in several publications and recognized with numerous awards.
Corbett’s work is also part of permanent collections at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts, the Division of Arts and Culture in the Florida Department of State, and the Florida House of Representatives.
Serendipity will be on display Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. through October 8. Admission to the gallery and parking on TSC’s campus are free.
