The Tallahassee State College (TSC) Fine Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of You Are Here, a solo exhibition by artist and educator Julie Baroody. The gallery will host an opening reception on Thursday, February 19, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Julie Baroody, who has taught art and jewelry making at TSC since 2000 and holds an MFA from Florida State University, explores the intersection of pattern, layering, and color in her work. Her work investigates how repetition, structure, and variation influence perception, thought, and meaning, drawing inspiration from both the natural world and the human mind.
The exhibition will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m., February 19 through March 26. Admission to the gallery and parking on TSC’s campus is free.
