TSC and Greater Tallahassee Chamber to Host 2026 AI Innovations Summit

June 8, 2026

Tallahassee State College (TSC) and the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce are proud to host the 2026 AI Innovations Summit for the second consecutive year, bringing together leaders from business, education, government, and technology to explore the future of artificial intelligence and its ethical implementation across industries.

The two-day summit will begin on Tuesday, June 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a full day of sessions on Wednesday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will feature nationally recognized speakers, hands-on demonstrations, expert panel discussions, and advanced breakout sessions designed to help participants understand and navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

This year’s keynote speaker is former astronaut Winston Scott, who will present “The View from Above: Why Humanity Must Lead in the Age of AI.” Drawing from his experience viewing Earth from space, Scott will challenge attendees to think critically about leadership, ethics, innovation, and humanity’s role in shaping the future of AI.

“It is more important than ever to bring people together to have productive conversations about how AI is developed, implemented, and used responsibly,” said Dr. Jim Murdaugh, TSC’s President. “The AI Innovations Summit creates an opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas, spark innovation, and help ensure Florida’s workforce is prepared to lead in an increasingly AI-driven economy.”

The summit reflects TSC’s ongoing commitment to advancing AI education, promoting the ethical use of emerging technologies, and equipping students, professionals, and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing workforce.
